Trigger Warnings: Homophobia, transphobia

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. It is a day to commemorate Transgender people who have been murdered from the result of homophobia and transphobia.

Your Transgender and Non- binary Rep, Courtney, has shared some words below about the Transgender people who inspire her and why.

If you are a Transgender or Non-Binary student and are in need of any support or guidance you can contact the Students’ Union Advice Centre on [email protected] or Student Wellbeing Services https://www.bathspa.ac.uk/students/student-wellbeing-services/

Who inspires you? (From Courtney Nunn, Trans and Non-Binary Rep)

Thomas Page Mcbee

"His books talking about his experience of transitioning (later in his life) and living as a man whilst dealing with the ideas of masculinity really helped me understand and continues to make me think about the subject of masculinity (both toxic and non-toxic) as I personally transition. His general way of thinking and the way he goes about the world helps me have a role model in who I want to aspire to"

Amari Dare

So Amari, what to say about Amari, best friend, best person and generally my greatest ally so on this remembrance lets remember those "that are still alive"- GlaDOS.
