Trustee Board Member Wanted
Bath Spa University Students’ Union is a non-profit orientated organisation with exempt charitable status. Our sole purpose is to continue to improve the student experience of our 7,500 members, through accurate and effective representation
The Union is led by its Board of Trustees, comprising of 7 student elected officers and up to three external trustees.
The Union provides a number of services to enhance the student experience while they are studying at Bath Spa, including:
• Clubs and societies.
• Welfare and education support.
• Volunteering activities.
• Social events.
• Bar
• Shop.
Following the recent governance review the Students’ Union is looking to bring specialist knowledge and experience on to its Board to work alongside elected Student Officers to direct the organisation with a turnover of nearly £1m.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a combination of skills and experience in strategic development, finance, legal and HR.
Understanding of the not-for-profit sector would be an advantage.
