During your studies at Bath Spa University you will, obviously, need a place to live. During the first year the majority of students are housed in halls of residence and those who aren't can seek assistance when looking for a private property. However when it comes to your second and third year finding a house becomes your responsibility.
Now for many students this will be the first time you find yourself responsible for organising your accommodation, and you may well find your parents wanting to contribute as much as is possible. However there is no reason this should be an overly stressful or difficult task.
The key to successful house hunting is being prepared and not to get intimidated or panicked.
The following links will provide you with plenty of information on what to look out for and ensuring you get a fair deal.
Also remember to pick up your copy of the Bath Student Housing Handbook from the Union or click here, and check out the housing talks provided by the University Housing Department in the spring term.
