What is the Students’ Union?
The Students’ Union is the representative body for all students at Bath Spa
We are here to make sure you are fairly treated and get the most out of your University experience.
The Union is student led, and at the head of everything are the three Sabbatical Officers supported by four Part-time Officers. Each of these positions is filled by a student who is elected in every year during the Unions general election.
Working independently from the University the Union offers a wide range of services, facilities and opportunities.
The most visible aspects of the Union are the Bar, Shop and Gym, all of which are open for use to all students, these facilities are here for you so please do make the most of them.
However there is a lot more to the Union than it may at first appear. As well as the commercial services the Union also offers support, advice, representation and activities. The Unions non-commercial services cover a vast area ranging from help and representation with academic appeals, to welfare advice, to sports teams, societies and volunteering.
So with so much on offer to you the Union should always be your first port of call regardless of the nature of your issue.
